Disclosure
Haunted Ships (haunted-ships.hostsite.info) is a small, independent site about ghost ships, haunted vessels and the real maritime history behind them. It is written and run by one person, as a hobby.
Advertising
This site may show ads, including ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers don’t choose or review what we write, and an ad appearing next to an article is not a recommendation from us. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads; see our Privacy Policy for details and opt-out links.
Affiliate and store links
Some articles may in future link to books, tours or gifts through affiliate links or through our own online store, NicheStuff. If you buy through one of those links, we may earn a commission or make a sale, at no extra cost to you. Any such link will be clearly marked. We also mention museums, ships, tours, hotels and books that we earn nothing from, simply because they are worth knowing about.
Legends and history
The ghost stories on this site are shared as legends and folklore, and we try to keep them separate from the documented history. Opening hours, tours and prices change, so always check with the attraction itself before you visit.
